Individual Therapy means meeting with your therapist on a one-on-one basis. Today there are many different platforms to enable individual therapy to take place.
Many therapists today integrate different therapy styles such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychoanalysis and/or person-centred therapy. However, some therapists work in a more purist way only utilising one form of therapy such as CBT, Schema Therapy or DBT (Dialectic Behaviour Therapy). See below for a more extensive list of different types of therapy.
