Therapy

I am a qualified counsellor with a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy from the University of Wales, Newport (2004) and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Consultative Supervision from the University of South Wales (2010).

I believe that there are moments in our lives, where we require the space and time to bring balance and understanding, especially when we are experiencing difficult situations or when our lives become overloaded with stress and pressures.  I can offer a safe and calm space, to explore their individual situation, their thoughts, feelings and life experiences. This is a time that is for you and about you, is non-judgmental and empathic and will therefore allow positive change to take place at your desired pace.  I believe this allows people to better understand themselves and reach their own full potential.

I have over 15 years’ experience in the counselling world and have worked with individuals, couples and young people, bereavement, loss, depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, family and relationship issues, and couples counselling.

I am also a qualified Consultative Supervisor, experienced in individual and group work, supporting counsellors working in a school setting, community and private practice.  I am available for both group and one to one supervision.
