I have nearly 20 years of experience working as a BACP accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and Supervisor.
I work using an integrative method drawing from the Humanistic Person Centred, CBT and Psychodynamic approach.
I have experience working with people who are enduring anxiety and the unhelpful behaviours it can bring. People living with depression, grief and loss and those and family members living with terminal and chronic illness. I also have experience of working with those in both the medical and emergency services. These examples are indeed not exhaustive.
I also offer Supervision for peer mentors, support workers, social workers nurses and students training for counselling and well-being qualifications, alongside couples therapy. We can all need support when we feel we can’t make ourselves understood leading to breakdown of communication and all difficulties we can face when in a relationship. Together we try and find the best outcome for the relationship, and those involved.
A good strong therapeutic relationship will allow you to express yourself freely. I will provide a comfortable space where you can come and be heard without judgement and feel safe to speak openly and honestly and to represent your true self and together we will build a resilient relationship which will enable you to accommodate a healthy and positive change.
