Introduction
I believe that counselling is a conversation with a purpose and my approach puts my clients at the centre of the counselling process. Drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches, my sessions are tailored to suit the needs of each individual client. Life can sometimes be painful and difficult. I will help you to explore and understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a safe, empathic and non-judgemental space. I offer a confidential, compassionate and caring therapeutic experience where the counselling process can help create positive change, improve self-confidence and thereby promote well-being and self-care.
I have over twenty years of counselling experience working in areas of bereavement and loss, anxiety, self-esteem, self-injury and depression. I am a qualified relationship counsellor helping couples and families explore, identify and overcome relationship issues. I offer short term and long term therapy.
Supervision
I am a qualified Consultative Supervisor and offer supervision and reflective practice for a range of professionals in a one to one and group setting. I have supported and supervised counsellors in a school-based setting, third sector organisations, NHS including working with Organ transplant nurses and frontline NHS staff.
