Introduction

I am a qualified  Integrative Counsellor/Therapist here at Talk in the Bay

I am a member of the National Counselling society, and studied at the University of South Wales, obtaining a BSc in Systemic Counselling, and previously a BSc in Psychology and Qualifying Diploma in Psychology.

I feel that we all have times in life, where we need the space and time to explore our thoughts, feelings and lives.  I offer a secure and safe space, where you can bring the issues you are experiencing. We will work together to navigate through these issues, learning to understand the reasons to the solutions.

Taking on an integrative approach, means that I work with every person at their unique and personal place in time, drawing on many therapeutic approaches to deal with your current reality.

During my time as a Counsellor/Therapist, I have worked within different organisations, from Drug and alcohol addiction/ Young people and schools, to my current workplace at Talk in the Bay.

Being qualified in a Systemic approach, allows me the freedom to work with clients on a one-one basis, couples/relationship’s and family therapy. I will create, with you, a safe space where you can explore all of the things that you may be holding inside; things that you may be struggling to talk about or deal with in your day to day life. Within the safety of the counselling room, we will work on creating all of the tools and daily strategies to deal with the confusion and challenges that you are facing

I am experienced in dealing with a host of issues, including; Anxiety, Depression, Self Harm, Loss/Bereavement, relationship challenges, low self esteem, existential crises and personal self growth

I have also spent many years working within the corporate world as a Business Manager, and with that experience, I can also work with you to explore Anxiety at work, confidence coaching, Goal setting coaching and how to create high performing teams.

I offer both face to face and online therapy.
