Possible outcomes
Our job, as therapist, is to facilitate you to come to a decision and help you find the healthiest way forward.
This could be by helping you to start re-building your relationship with a better understanding of each other’s needs and/or by developing healthier coping strategies to deal with the problems or difficulties, which may have arisen during the course of the relationship.
It may be that in some situations if the future does not feel bearable, a decision is made to end the relationship. Should this be the healthier outcome we will be there to help you cope with the pain that this may result in and assist you to develop strategies to move on.
