Mireia Falco

Introduction

I am passionate about working with people. I bring my own life experience, and curiosity in life to support those struggling with grief, anxiety, and depression in a compassionate and creative way.

I also work with anger, bereavement, bullying, eating disorders, emotional dysregulation, loss, low self esteem, miscarriage, infant loss, relationship, sex and intimacy issues, sexuality (LGBTQ+), stress, trauma, work related stress and gender identity.

As an expat fluent in Catalan, Spanish and English I can relate to the distress of integrating into another country, not always by choice. I’m from Barcelona originally and I have lived in the UK for 10 years. I have worked in the NHS, voluntary and private sector with adults of various ages and backgrounds. I have experience providing online therapy to suit your needs and am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP).

How we would work together

Every session is unique, and everyone’s story is individual and personal. Sessions are about you, about what you want to bring. There are no expectations for you to be or do anything. We will work towards finding lasting strategies that enable you to manage your day-to-day challenges, with the prospect of trusting your inner-self and building resilience. I provide a safe, open-minded and supporting space to explore deeper underlying issues while supporting you through this process.
