Introduction
I believe that through listening and understanding another person’s journey we can make sense of it together, find solutions and new ways of thinking, feeling and dealing with life’s challenges. My background has been in addiction therapy, and I studied drug and alcohol counselling at the University of Leicester. I have worked with a wide range of presenting issues in addition to supporting people on their journey from addiction to recovery. I have experience with neurodiversity, working with anxiety and stress and burn out, trauma, relationship issues and personal growth. Change happens when we feel in a safe space to explore thoughts, feelings and experiences and I work with clients to create a therapeutic relationship where they feel at their most comfortable and supported. Accessing therapy for the first time can feel daunting and uncertain so I am always contactable to talk with if you’d like to discuss your needs and expectations from therapy. I believe we all have the capacity to grow, to change and to feel our best and if you’d like to see whether I can help, you can book via the site.
