Carly Hawkins
I am a qualified counsellor with a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I offer a compassionate, inclusive, and client-centred space where you can feel heard, respected, and supported. I am also a Welsh speaker.
My integrative approach brings together a flexible blend of therapeutic models including Person-Centred, Humanistic, Relational Psychodynamics, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Comttment Therapy (ACT). This allows me to tailor therapy to meet your unique needs—discovering your personal therapeutic language and working collaboratively within a framework that honours your individuality.
I work with adults (18+) from diverse backgrounds and have extensive experience supporting those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, low self-esteem, OCD, relationship issues, social anxiety, and life transitions. I also provide specialised support for individuals who are neurodivergent and offer a welcoming, affirming space for those exploring issues around sexuality (LGBTQ+) and gender identity. I have worked with clients facing the impacts of rape and sexual assault, as well as self-harm.
Whether you are seeking short-term support or longer-term therapeutic work, my goal is to walk alongside you with empathy and integrity. Together, we can explore what’s holding you back, build resilience, and move towards a more empowered and meaningful life.
Therapy Offered:
- Short-Term & Long-Term Therapy
