Sarah Peart
Hello, I’m Sarah Peart, a sexologist here at Talk in The Bay. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in clinical psychosexology, and I’m also a qualified sexuality educator specializing in adult education. My work involves working together with people to explore their sex lives and related distresses; from intimacy and relationships to concerns around gender and sexuality, pain, dysfunctions, bodily changes, or any other sexual challenges that impact emotional well-being.
As a sexologist, I focus on understanding the psychological, emotional, and physical aspects of sexuality. My approach blends education with practical insights, rooted in the belief that sex is a skill—one that can be nurtured and improved through knowledge. Unfortunately, many of us missed out on crucial information about healthy sexual functioning, and that’s where I come in. I’m committed to creating a space where we can have open, honest discussions, explore different ideas and challenges, and try new exercises and tools—all without judgment and focused on what truly works for you.
We’ll have conversations that are open, respectful, and centred on your individual needs. Whether you’re looking to gain clarity about your sexual identity, improve intimacy in your relationships, or address specific concerns, I’m here to guide you through the process. Together, we’ll work through challenges using a blend of therapeutic techniques—such as mindfulness and somatic awareness—combined with psychoeducation to help you gain a deeper understanding of your sexual health. By integrating practical tools and knowledge, we’ll focus on building a healthy, fulfilling sex life, empowering you to move forward with confidence.
Empowering yourself through education is key to living a fulfilling sexual life, and I’m here to support you on that journey, offering tools that make sense for your unique situation.
