Zeljka is an experienced psychotherapist, offering short and long-term therapy to both couples and individuals. She works with the whole range of issues: from helping couples deal with evolving or difficult relationships; through anxiety and depression; consequences of trauma, sexual abuse and bullying to issues caused by lack of confidence and low self-esteem.
She is a Registered Member of the BACP who, after gaining a Psychology based degree in 2003 and qualifying as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in 2007, worked for the NHS as a Psychotherapist in Primary Care.
Zeljka describes herself as a therapist with a strong humanistic attitude. She is passionate about helping people deal with complex situations and difficult feelings in ways that fit most comfortably within their own unique set of circumstances by using methods and techniques that have been established as most effective for relieving emotional distress and troubling, but all-too-often enduring, patterns of behaviour.
She believes that helping people rebuild their confidence goes a long way towards helping them become stronger and therefore more able to deal with life’s challenges. Her mission is to help you learn to listen to yourself more deeply and thereby come as close as you can to enjoying as many moments of your life as your circumstances will allow you.
