Demi is an Integrative Counsellor offering long and short-term therapy for both couples and individuals, which she tailors to the specific needs of each of her clients. Her work is informed and inspired by Person Centered theory, Psychodynamic theory, Attachment Theory, Transactional Analysis, Relationship Therapy and Mindfulness-based practice.
She is particularly experienced in working with relationship and intimacy issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, bereavement and loss, historic sexual abuse, parenting, co-parenting and blended families helping individuals to develop healthy and positive relationships and coping mechanisms. Demi provides an opportunity for clients to explore their issues with her in session working through past and present difficulties. Demi works with individuals and couples.
Since gaining her degree in Psychology in 2005 and qualifying as a Counsellor in 2010 Demi has worked for the NHS, Cruse Bereavement, RASA, New Pathways and Relate. Demi is a registered member of the British Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (BACP).
